Adam is a superstar because.....

...he is nice when we play help other people thats why hes nice

...he is always nice and a little bit funky alot

...he is fun

...he is friends whis everbaty
...he is so so so so so pritty ("evil" was originally written, but the teacher requested the author change it...it was written by one of Adam's best buddies...boys!)
...he is a good stoodint and he is a good firend
...he is making me lafe
...he is funny
...he cares about others

Starting Monday Feb 11th, Adam was the Star Student of the week. He had a poster to color and fill in with his birthday, favorite food (cheesesticks), favorite place to go (Disneyworld...he's never actually been there), and his favorite thing to do (play on the swingset). There were also two spots to attach a personal and a family photo. Our family barely fit even after trimming it down to just people (no fillers like grass, trees, couches etc). Somewhere in the classroom, this poster gets displayed for all to see.

Tuesday Feb 12th was the 100th day of school. I don't remember celebrating this landmark when I was a school girl those many, many, many years ago. It is a big deal nowadays where classrooms have a party and count just about anything up to 100, write about what they would do if they had $100 (Adam would help people) etc. On that very special 100th day of first grade, Adam's first upper front tooth finally fell out. It was literally dangling by a thread!

No school Wednesday due to snow/ice.

Of course, there was a party on Thursday for Valentine's Day. And to top this super duper fun week Adam came home on Friday spiral book titled "Adam is a Superstar!". Inside is a sheet from each and every classmate stating "Adam is a superstar because......." They all wrote their own answers (see above), drew a picture, and signed their names. So cute!
