Ebay Virgin No Longer

I have finally taken the plunge and attempted my first Ebay auction ever. I posted it minutes ago and am already feeling breathless and nervous about the outcome. With 6 days, 23 hours, and so many odd minutes left....I have plenty of time to continue my ridiculous frantic clicking of the refresh button only to find there are still zero bids. Yes, I have hit the refresh button at least 20 times in less than an hour.

Below is a picture of the limited release Mimzy doll up for grabs. Only 500 of these adorable 14" chenille bunnies were made by the Robert Tonner Doll Company for the movie The Last Mimzy. I was able to get my hands on 5 of these dolls before they sold out. I had plans to sell one and give one to each kid at Christmas. Depending on how well they sell on Ebay, we may only find one under the tree this December. :)

If you haven't seen the movie yet, I highly recommend it.

Parties and Puppies

We celebrated Kirkiez and #1's birthdays on Saturday with friends and family. We grazed on soft tacos, 7 layer dip, margaritas, punch, and of course a funfetti cake with milk chocolate icing and oreo cookies.

On Sunday, while Kirkiez hit the golf course and did one of four fantasy drafts, the kids and I went for a drive to pick up our new puppy, Hokie. We also took home Hokie's sister for Aunt M who she named Haley. I am excited to raise sister dogs with my sister. Behold, the beautiful girls:

Down by the Bay

While it may have been a bit overcast and not your typical sunny beach day, it was perfect for a family gathering at Herrington Harbour where my brother keeps his boat. The kids were able to wade, board, and otherwise goof off in super shallow water, while the rest of us enjoyed eating, kayaking and catching up. My brother, sister, mom, step dad, sister in law and nephews were all there. It couldn't have been a better day!

Guardian Angel

Chloe has gained her wings.
May she rest in peace.
We love you girl!

It works. It really, really works:

Float Trip

We put out at the Rt50 boat landing Friday afternoon at roughly 4pm. Canoed to the hidden camping spot on the secret penninsula. Spent the night. Fished all day saturday, and arrived at Lock's Landing at 2:45pm Saturday. AHBOONDAY, HAY!

Typical Thursday afternoon

Many thanks to Rab for the invite to Redskins park on the James Thrash VIP pass tip. Couldn't have been more jazzed when I left the place. Check it out.
